Hi! I’m Melinda

Some of the titles I hold are believer, wife, Momma, Maw Maw, and photographer. My husband and I have three adult children whom I homeschooled K-12. We have one grandchild who always brings a smile to my face. Maw Maw is absolutely the most fun job I have ever had!

As a photographer located in Jacksonville, Alabama, I have been photographing others for twenty years, but have had a passion for photography for much longer than that! My 7th grade American history teacher, who was also a photographer, instilled a desire to capture the beauty around me as he showed us his own photos from all over the United States as he taught his lessons. After I got married and had children, my love of photography grew and I was always snapping photos of my children.

I shoot weddings, engagements, families, seniors, and sports. I love the wide range of photography that this presents! Each of these situations require different uses of my camera. Therefore, I am constantly learning and pushing myself to broaden my ability. My goal is to give you timeless photos full of memories while making the process enjoyable and comfortable.

I use Canon DSLR & mirrorless cameras (5D Mark IV & R6) with Tamron and Canon professional lenses. I shoot in natural light and with studio lights.
